EUCIS-LLL Photo Contest

The European Civil Society Platform on Lifelong Learning (EUCIS-LLL), in partnership with the UEF/Learning for Well-Being and InterRail, has launched the Photo contest: “Picture the Future of Learning – Unlocking each and everyone’s unique potential“.

Aim of the contest is to present the vision for the future of learning by visual means (photo, image, infographic) in the following three categories:
- Learning environments: learning takes place everyday, everywhere. Where and with whom would you like to learn?
- Learning diversity: the motto of Europe is “united in diversity”. How could we include different learners and take into account different ways of learning?
- Learning Europe: the EU is contributing to our future. How could we live, learn and shape Europe?

The contest is open to residents or citizens of the EU. Before submitting their picture on the EUCIS-LLL dedicated Facebook picture competition application, contestants are kindly asked to review the rules of the contest.

A jury will select the 10 best pictures that will be exhibited at the European Parliament during the Lifelong Learning Week from 2 to 6 December 2013. In addition, three winners (1 for each category) will win an InterRail Global Pass. The selection procedure takes into account both the number of votes and the following criteria: creativity and visual impact; original concept; emotional power and strength of the vision conveyed. Participants are thus invited to share the Facebook application with their family, colleagues and friends in order to increase their chances to win.
