A fellowship programme in Catalonia is extending transnational mobility for researchers. The initiative is also supporting international recruitment of quality researchers and promoting career development opportunities for experienced researchers in the European Research Area (ERA).
The project BP (Post-doctoral programme Beatriu de Pinós) is addressing incoming and outgoing schemes. The former supports career development by offering researchers of all nationalities the opportunity to train and conduct an independent research career in a Catalan institution for a 24-month period. The outgoing programme reinforces the international dimension of the careers of researchers holding a doctoral degree from a Catalan university. Fellows in the outgoing scheme will undergo training and acquire new knowledge in a high-level entity established in another EU/associated country or third country for a 24-month period, with the possibility of a 12-month return phase to a Catalonia-based organisation.
