The relationship between exposure to aerosols at home or work and human health remains unclear. An EU initiative seeks to provide insight into the impact of exposure in such indoor settings.
Modern society spends the majority of its time in the home and office, or travelling between the two. This is where routine exposure to air pollution from aerosols occurs. The extent to which this regular exposure to aerosols in urban homes, workplaces, private and public transport vehicles affects humans has not been determined yet.
