Frontex is the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, supports EU Member States and Schengen Associated Countries in the management of EU’s external borders and fighting cross-border crime.
Frontex's traineeship programme provides highly motivated candidates from a range of educational and professional backgrounds, the opportunity to gain practical working experience of cooperation in the field of external borders of the European Union, to acquire knowledge of the European Union, its institutions and activities and to put into practice knowledge acquired during studies or at work.
Who can apply:
Nationals of the EU Member States or of the Schengen Associated Countries;
who have completed the first cycle and obtained a full degree or its equivalent (degree of at least 3 years of study - minimum a Bachelor or its equivalent) of a higher education course (university education, studies equivalent to university or law enforcement studies) relevant for the tasks of Frontex.
Traineeships can last from 3 to 12 months and are paid around €720 per month.
