Entries are welcome from all professional and amateur photographers working for law enforcement agencies and law enforcement magazines from the EU and countries with Europol agreements.

The top three photographs will win a two-night trip for two people to The Hague or Amsterdam, with a visit to Europol. Other outstanding entries will be selected for use in Europol’s 2019 calendars, publications and other communication products.

The European Youth Award (EYA) selects and promotes best European innovative students, and social entrepreneurs, start-ups, designers, producers, application developers, journalists and writers, who create digital projects with impact on society addressing the goals defined by the Council of Europe , Europe 2020 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Theme of the 2018 prize: "Identities, European Values and Cultural Heritage in Europe"

The European Commission's Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy is inviting students in journalism from all Member States to communicate on real life projects co-funded by the European Regional Development and Cohesion Funds. The lucky winners will be offered a chance to come to Brussels as a part of the media pool communicating on one of the major events of the year: the European Week of Regions and Cities 2018.

The European Journalism Centre (EJC) is delighted to announce the launch of its new Global Health Journalism Grants Programme for Germany.

The Pompidou Group's European Prevention Prize was first launched in 2004. It is awarded every two years. The #SaferInternet4EU Awards, aiming to reward and celebrate excellence and best practice in the European safer/better internet field from organisations, teachers and youth, are now open for entries until 15 May 2018.

Groups of vocational education and training (VET) learners from European Union member states, Norway and Iceland are invited to share their VET experience through a photostory for a chance to win a trip to the European vocational skills week in Vienna or the Thessaloniki international film festival in November 2018.

Take part in Parliament’s Instagram photo contest for the chance to win a place at the 2018 European Youth Event (EYE) in Strasbourg.

In view of the next edition of the European Youth Event (EYE2018), the European Parliament is looking for new ways to connect with young citizens. The competition invites young people between 18 and 30 years old (as of June 2018), EU citizens or resident in the EU, to find an answer to the following question:
"How can the European Parliament connect better with young people and engage them more in the European democratic debate?".

Young people from all the EU Member States are invited to participate in a competition on EU development, integration and European identity issues by the European Parliament and the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen.

We are looking for fun, fresh and visually engaging photos that celebrate why it is great to study abroad in Europe.
Your mission is to send us photos that demonstrate to students around the world what you love about studying in Europe.

We plan to select and publish 10 winning photos. Each photo we publish will receive a prize of a voucher to the value of 100 Euro.

The European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards is granted annually to identify and promote best practices in the conservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, to stimulate the trans-frontier exchanges of knowledge and experience throughout Europe, to enhance public awareness and appreciation of Europe's cultural heritage, and to encourage further excellent initiatives through the power of example.

In the framework of the European Week of Sport starting from 23 to 30 September 2017 across Europe, the European Commission has launched the #BeActive Photo-Video Competition.

From 15th June onwards Europeans can use their mobile phones (calls, SMS and data) when travelling in the EU with no extra roaming charges. This means people can easily stay in touch with friends, colleagues and family members when travelling without the fear of high phone bills. To mark the end of roaming charges for travellers in the EU, the European Commission has launched the Roaming in the EU Facebook Photo Contest.

Launched by the European Commission Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) the #BeInclusive EU Sport Awards aim to recognise organisations using the power of sport to increase social inclusion for disadvantaged groups.

Who can apply
Organisations established in the European Union, public or private, commercial or not-for-profit, that have successfully developed sport projects aimed at social inclusion of ethnic minorities, refugees, people with disabilities, youth groups at-risk, or any other group that faces challenging social circumstances.
